What do you do before a freeze

I live in Houston, TX and was wondering what I should do before a freeze. Do you just keep the pump running 24/7?

If you don't have freeze protection, then yes, run your pump until the freezing weather subsides. There are timers that can be had with integrated freeze protection built in as an option and they will automatically start the pump once the temperature hits a certain point. You might check in to that.
