Looking for info on the best sources for chlorine this year on Long Island. The last few years I’ve primarily used the HDX Chlorinating Liquid which is 10% and comes in both two and three gallon cases. Last year it was ~4.33/gal. It is still listed for the same price on the Home Depot website but I have not seen it in stores yet this year. I’ve also used the 12.5% shock that is sometimes available at Ocean State Job Lot. In their current flyer (5/5/22-5/11/22) it is advertised for $5/gal. Has anyone found a better deal?

Reading past threads I know some folks have sourced from pool and chemical supply places buying in bulk using 5gal carboys. If there’s a deal to had, I am certainly willing to go that route.

I just got a 4 pack of 22074 at HD for $17 and change. The pallet was 3/4 empty already. It looks like it will be hit/miss for a while still as it's too early for most to be thinking pools by us and demand will crush the low supply soon.
