1hp impeller with 1.5hp motor (super pump) will it work?

I'm replacing a motor that was a 1hp/1.5sf w/ a 1.5hp/1.0sf (same difference right?) ..but noticed it had a 1hp impeller mounted to it from previous install before. This will work right? Just move less water gpm. I know you can't go the other way..bigger impeller on smaller hp motor since it will burn it up. I would just slap a 1.5hp impeller on to match the motor but fear I'd have to change out to the diffuser and possibly other parts as well? Thank you in advance for any help!

Impeller.........Total hp required.
SPX2600C..........0.60
SPX2605C..........0.75
SPX2607C..........1.10
SPX2610C..........1.50
SPX2615C..........2.00
SPX1621C..........2.50

The only impeller that requires a different diffuser is the SPX1621C.

You can put an oversized motor on an impeller but you can't put an oversized impeller on a motor.

Thanks James! So should I just slap a 1.5hp/1.0sf (again last motor was 1.0hp/1.5sf but doesn't matter as long as thp =1.5hp correct?..guess it doesn't matter how you get there)motor on and keep the current 1.0hp impeller?
