Hi all,
At the end of last year I bought an intex 18’ above ground pool. We had a greenhouse on a portion of our property that we had taken down, it was roughly 14x14. Now here’s the interesting part- the floor still remains (it’s 4 pieces of (HEAVY) plastic flooring that click together.
My original plan was to remove the pieces of the floor, lay down sand, level it and install the pool. Things never go as planned, when I removed the first piece of the flooring it has gravel underneath it.
So I knew the idea of removing the flooring was out, I then thought about putting sand on top of the flooring but I know the sand won’t stay as it’s on a plastic surface, then I thought about putting the sand under the flooring to raise it up, but I am scared that the weight of the floor will cause it to sink once the weight of the floor and the filled pool are on it.
Any ideas?
ive attached pics.
