Good evening everyone new here but have had a pool for 3 years and water is amazing. I bought a home with a custom 16x32. I went to open it Sunday and got it all done and hooked went to start pump and it started and stopped after 2 seconds . Perplexed I did some searching. Meanwhile I rebuilt in the winter the seals with a new kit , wired it exactly the same way . I thought it was capacitor changed that re wired same thing . So I wired for low speed and it will run . I have the same pump in my spill over spa so I took that pump and wired it for hi and it does the same thing. I am stumped can anyone help ?

I would start all over and go step by step as if you were just now installing it. Make sure to have the power off!
