Hi all, when I use the Pool Math calculator to determine how to adjust my PH, I see that the level of Borate will determine how much MA to add to lower PH. Do I need to test for Borate level in order to use the PH adjustment accurately or can I just assume zero for Borates (that's the default value). I'm not looking to add Borates, just ensure that my PH adjustments are correct.

Thanks all,
Brad

Unless you have added them you would not have borates in your pool water.

So use ZERO for borates.
