OHHHH FABULOUS! An enhancing sealer would bring out the color more since you want to match your house! :deal: Wet a piece and that would be what an enhancing penetrating sealer would almost look like.
It is PERFECT just the way it is though!!!

Hahahah. I'm trying to keep my pocket book close as possible to me but some how my wife always finds a way to sneak it out. Plus every time someone on here has a great idea I share it with her and she is all for it....
Guess I should stop sharing ideas with her lol

I'm stealing Kim's invite bc we go to Vegas every year and stay at our condo at the Grandview next to South Point Casino. How far are you from that? It's about 20 mins or so from the strip.

The spillway is starting to look amazing! And love the furniture. I am itching to buy furniture but with $6000 added in to switch to travertine, not sure if we will get much any time soon. So instead, I am building an arsenal of bathing suits lol

I stay in southwest Las Vegas and I'm directly west of the south point right at the edge of the mountains so maybe only 10-15 mins away. The south point is actually my Tuesday movie spot cause every movie is $5 lol. It's all I can afford after all the upgrades to the pool hahaha
But you are more than welcome to stop by when your in the area, just give me a shout out and I'll send you my info.
If I had to guess I bet you still get your bathing suits and furniture cause some how some way we always find a way to scrap together a couple more nickels for a good cause lol. Even though these times can be stressful TFP makes it that much easier to bear this burden of construction, I can't wait to post in backyard paradise
 
That is true!

We love South Point. They hold multiple horse shows there so gives me something else to do than gamble. Likely will be out in Oct this year.

Is this your direction? This is the road between Grandview and South Point. I was admiring the mountains (southern FL girl where it is all flat) and thought it looked like nice neighborhoods over there.

My mom and aunt have been going to Vegas for a week for the last 15 years. I went for my first time in '14 but it was for the World Cup (equestrian not soccer) so didn't get to do much, though we did snag a limo ride from Thomas Mack to Luxor for $20! Haha so last year in Sept I came with my mom and aunt here at the condo and had a blast. I want to see the Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam too one day. I also just love how different the terrain, elevation, and vegetation varies from region to region. Like when I go up north and geek out bc there are Christmas trees growing in people's yards! Hah

I am going to get SOME furniture esp bc we are selling our big boat.... But I always am looking for a deal... Never pay full price!
 
That is my direction, I live in the very back at the bottom of the mountains. I figure if you can't get a ocean view a mountain and strip view are the next best thing in this city.
And I'm with you, I NEVER pay full price and always look for a deal. The furniture was on a Memorial Day sale plus I say a coupon online and called them back yesterday and they gave me a refund for the difference which made my deal sweater lol
 
That travertine is GORGEOUS!!! You must be so happy. And your mountain backdrop for your backyard....oasis. I lived in AZ for grad school and even though I'm an East coast girl I really do miss those desert mountains. We were just in Vegas last month and hubby and I did the helicopter tour of Hoover Dam and landed in the GC. So fun! I'm having trouble with photo bucket right now but will post the pic of my pebble finish sample as soon as I can. Have you decided on a finish yet?

Thanks for the compliments, I love my backdrop and can't wait to put my new furniture together and enjoy my pool and backyard.
I haven't did the helicopter tour but it is definitely on my list cause I heard it's amazing, plus as locals we get a discount :)
I have not decided on my finish yet but I love your water color. I think I'm just trying to decide between a blue base and a grey base, I already know I want a medium blue color. I will say that I saw a color that was a steel blue but I can't find anything from stonescapes to match it. These final details are so hard lol

I'm just so glad everything is turning out nice. I can honestly say the pool is coming out better than planned which makes me happy
