Hi, Forgive me if this question sound trivial, but I just wanted know, am I right in thinking that if my pool light does not work, check the GFI if it has popped out before replacing the light.
My management company have taken 3 weeks to diagnose and repair this issue.

Any help is appreciated.

Paul,

Yes, the first thing to check would be the GFCI. If popped, then reset and see if it pops again.

If the GFCI has not popped, then I'd take the light assembly out of the pool and put it up on the deck. Remove the bulb and confirm that you have power to the bulb socket. If good, change the bulb and gasket.

Thanks for posting,

Jim R.
