Current Test Results:
FC=4.5
CC=0.5 or less
CYA = 50
PH = btwn 6.8 and 7.4
TA = 40
CH = 200
Water temp 83 degrees
Rained yesterday
My CYA was 0 when I opened the pool this season (June 1) and after balancing the water, I was using pucks in the automatic chlorinator to get the CYA up. I had a bucket of pucks leftover from last year and I needed CYA and didn't want to buy stabilizer when I had pucks to get rid of so I was using them temporarily. Just this week it measured 50 so I will stop using them and switch to bleach only.
The water has been crystal clear until today.
Wondering if the PH, TA, CH could have anything to do with the cloudiness. Since it rained yesterday, I wonder if the PH will adjust itself in a day or so. Or maybe I got in trouble playing with the stupid pucks. (Higher CYA than I'm measuring)
Any suggestions about why the water might be cloudy?
