First timer on IG pool startup

Found 12.5% chlorine shock at menards. Used 7 gallons last night. Have another 8 to go. I can see to the bottom of the deep end now

i finally have free chlorine in the pool now and water clarity! only took about 60 gallons of bleach by estimate.

That's better, from the pictures, though, it's still not quite​ clear. How did your OCLT go?

Clarity continues to improve. I can now see that the main drain has philips head screws...lol. hard to pick up on the camera, but it continues to improve daily now. I've added salt and my SWCG is going.

feel like a pro now, this is my 3rd year of doing the open myself. It was extremely easy to handle now The combination of my SWG and bleach to get the pool started is a no brainer. Love this forum and than you all for the help!
