Quick question for the pump experts. I currently small fiberglass pool with no water features. My pump is a single speed Hayward Max-Flow II 3/4 HP, model SP2705X7. The pump is running fine.

In your opinion, should I consider replacing it with one of these Variable speed pumps on the Amazon deal, and if so, which is most appropriate for my application?

It's a little late for the Amazon deal, but in S.C. I think your electric rates are pretty low (correct me if I'm wrong) so it doesn't make economic sense to buy a variable speed pump. A 2-speed would be a better investment. And the 3/4 hp is probably a good size for your pool.
