Took the cover off pool and it wasn't pretty - starting SLAM but CYA question

FC 7
CC 0
PH 7.4
TA 140
CH 300
CYA 40 (about half way between 30 and 40 three times in a row)

I added bleach this morning to keep it above 7 so I've lost about 4.5 FC in about 9 hours. I will get it back above 16 now.

If it weren't for the fact that you are losing so much FC during the day/night, those test numbers look really good. TA can come down a bit, but not related to your issue right now. Until you can do that deep cleaning, I would continue with a daily backwash and simple scrub around the pool just to be safe. I sure hope that deep cleaning uncovers a monster because your pool otherwise should be healthy.
