    No suction for vacuum

I can't seem to get enough suction to vacuum up dirt\sand by my main drain. I tried closing one of the skimmers.. but that didn't help much. The only thing I can think of is to try removing the skimmer baskets. Other ideas?

Your filter might need backwashing. Just a thought.

    That did the trick! Thanks.

My vacuum head sucks though. Which do you guys recommend? Also, should I vacuum to waste or the filter?

Either, but vacuuming to waste will drop the water level pretty good. Where to filter will not.
