$100 to clean my filter?

Mig,

You have a VS pump and no heater, so your normal filter pressure should be less than 5 psi, depending on your filter size.. and how fast the pump if running..

The key here is to know how big your filter is, and at what pump speed you are measuring your PSI??? Without that info, your reported pressure does not mean much.

Another thought.. Pay them the $100 bucks, but watch them do the job, and you will know if it is something you want to tackle.. I have a large filter and only clean it twice a year.. I could go a whole year if I wanted, so two weeks is either a lot of plaster dust, or an excuse to make a $100 bucks..

Thanks,

Jim R.
