With the weather warming up, I cleaned the leaves off the cover and started pumping the water off the cover. I haven't seen the pool water since I closed it in the fall. I waited for temps to drop below 60 and brought it up to shock level with some liquid bleach, covered it up and hoped for the best. Well, I got my first peek today and its crystal clear under the cover!
Thank you TFP for an easy first spring startup!

Same here. I was super excited to open my cover to find crystal clear water. I made a thread about it as well a couple days ago. I plan to get the pump and equipment going this weekend. Stoked!

Ditto on mine a few months ago. Brought to shock levels before closing in Dec and left it alone for 2 months until it warmed up again. Considering how green the rainwater was on top of my cover, I was honestly expecting a nasty swamp to take care of right away this year, but was surprised by crystal clear water that still had an FC of 12ppm (shock was 16ppm).
