    Robot pool cleaners

I did no research on the Polaris line and I can not find any info on the gallons per hour for the pumps but here is an interesting thought.. The difference between Dolphin residential and commercial robots is a little bigger pump going from 3735 gallons an hour for residential to 4233 gallons...

    Spa grout line leaking

The great thing is tile is a perfect DIY project.. You see the times it takes to do tile and it really is easy doing a little at a time.. About the only problem being the spa would have to be empty the whole time you are doing the project.. :)

    Spa grout line leaking

The interesting part of this is just like you say Allen, the water is coming from the water inside the spa leaking through the tile and plaster into the concrete.. So really to fix this you would need to pull all tile inside and outside and start over using the directions and supplies from my...

    Spa grout line leaking

In this picture it is happening because the tile was not installed correctly.. In this picture it is because it was installed wrong and the water drying in those spots creating buildup.. Some muriatic acid diluted 50% in a spray bottle and a scrub brush will get most of that off but it will...

    Spa grout line leaking

That sure looks like there was no waterproofing done behind the tile and the tile has failed... Below is how a tile install should be done and most builders have no idea how to do it nor care.. They just want it done as fast as possible.. I bet your tile was done in 1 or 2 days...

    Amazon purchase advice

They are probably made by Pleatco or the same exact manufacture the Hayward uses.. There is nothing wrong with them at all.. If there was any kind of warranty needed with the filter it probably will not be the cart's.. Mine have been going strong for 8 years and I have 2 sets so really only 4...

    Lighting maintenance

This one is easy.. The lights are connected to a GFCI breaker and if there were anything wrong it would trip instantly... Most now are only 12 volt low voltage lights but even if they were 120V it is still GFCI protected :)

Thinking about adding a heat pump to save on gas heating bills

Here is the Fafco CoolPV system.. The PV part is a dinky 295 watt, I am running 410 watt per panel into Enphase IQ7 Plus 300 watt AC module.. that 295 watt panel might do 250 watts on a great day and most days will only do 150 to 200 watt.. I wonder if you could do the normal water solar...

I did the second option for my solar.. My solar payment will be 250 bucks a month for 20 years.. While the power company will continue to raise the bill and probably be 600 dollars a month in 20 years.. I will then be on free power :)

He has 27 KW of Solar power on his roof.. he can easily add the heat pump and not pay any more to the power company as he is generating power locally using solar panels... @Fresnoboy That is a whole lot of solar.. How close are you to not owing anything to the power company or how much do...
