Same thing seems to have started happening with google dns as well. Soon no public dns servers will support whatever type of dns the device is sending. Maybe sending large tcp dns packets? Makes no sense why tho. Unless the internal software was developed really crappy.

I test regularly. I have never needed to add chemicals to get levels correct. Sometimes I super chlorinate using the salt cell. That’s it.

Thank you I’ll give this a try. This is a salt water pool. I don’t add any chemicals. The pool is always very clean and clear. It’s just this one spot I can’t seem to get rid of.

I tried to use some hydrochloric acid on the pool floor. This is in the deep end, so got one of those sticks with the acid holder on the end. Didn’t work. It looks almost like dirt. But it’s not. It won’t come out no matter what I have tried so far.

They ara all Hayward GVA24 actuators. I am not sure of the valve brand there. It’s been there since before I owned it. I always use pentair valves. Yes it’s cracked at the front right screw that also holds down the actuator. It’s like a hairline crack but it started squirting out.

How do you connect direct without using the AquaConnect app through a smartphone? is that even possible? I have no problem with my wifi.

Not for me. Response time is much quicker using the standard remote compared to the aqua connect. The aquaconnect sometimes takes several tries to even register the commands.

You can get an aql2-base-rf and a aql2-pod2. Or an aql2-base-rf and a aquaconnetc home connect to control it from your smart phone. This is convenient to use on a smart phone but very slow and not even as close to the speed of a aql2-pod2 remote. Either way you would need the RF base antenna.

Well after 2 weeks my order got canceled. They apparently don’t have it and don’t update their website. I will need to replace it with something new.
