I’ll add to that. The only reason we use the IC and not any wifi enabled smart plug is because I knew I wanted to go this route when building our pool back in November. Having said that, the outlet the pool builder put near our pool (specifically for a robot) gets its power from the IC load...

This is how I control mine. The poolside GFCI outlet is on an aux relay in my intellicenter. Works great!

I have to ask, we just experienced swimming in a pool that had the robot running and no less than 6 times did the robot get my feet. Is this not common place? Granted, this was a really small FG pool we were in.

Can you link to what you purchased? Sounds like a great idea and my shed (where we I will store the robot) is only 40' from the pool.

That's a good plan! I want to install the entire control panel box into a NEMA rated enclosure so it will be completely hands off and weatherproof.

Just to rehash this thread. I assume that I can wire one of the IntelliCenter relays to control a 110/120v outlet. This would allow me to use the IC to turn on and off the robot from an outlet near the pool (I can then put the Warrier Controller box inside a NEMA box). I would prefer this...

Thanks for the follow up! It appears as though the caddy is the only difference. Considering the robot will be stored in my shed, which is only a 40' walk to the deep end of the pool, I'm going with with the SI (both units share the same manual!).
