    Hayward PS4 controller valve button

Hi All, I have two Hayward GVA24 actuator valves that controls the pool and spa modes. On the display/board, Valve 3 and Valve 4 is available, but when i press it, nothing happens. The valves work fine, and when i move the switchs manually, they work, but pressing the valve 3 button doesn't...

    Setting Spa Water Level

the water level is not a problem, just me wanting to make it better. If you look at post #38, the water is sitting just above the jets in the corner. During spa operation, If just 1 or 2 sit in there, and don't splash, the water is okay. If kids jump in and out and take the water with them...

    Setting Spa Water Level

yes, very similar setup, with the spa jets running, the actuator closes off the pool circulation. Jim, I am not comfortable removing the coping or stones to play around with the height of that valve. The wife would kill me if i ruin the look by adding things on the stone. Thoughts on...

    Setting Spa Water Level

i get the point of he water draining from the spa into the pool now. However, when the pump is running, it is set for a slight flow to the spa jets, if i increase that flow to be greater than the amount draining into the pool, won't I get the result of raising that level?

    Setting Spa Water Level

so the pump filter runs from 8am to midnight. This morning, at 7:30am, nothing is running. No water coming out of that jet beneath the spa. Put the hose in, after a couple of minutes, the water is leaving the spa, going back into the pool via the jet As previously mentioned, the pool guys...

    How to use the drain

So the wrinkle was 4 feet long, and at it's peak, 1/4" in height. Took me 4 hours yesterday, using my fingers to work it back towards the step. 12" per hour, that was funny. I did not drain the pool. Plungers didn't help. Pool vacuum didn't help (saw a video on youtube, but my pool vacuum...

    Setting Spa Water Level

In pool mode, I think that the flow from the spa to the pool is constant, call it S2PF. The amount of water being pumped into the spa jets, call it SJF. What if that actuator is keeping SJF=S2PF. If I adjust the cam and allow a little more flow into spa jets, SJF will be greater than S2PF...

    Setting Spa Water Level

lol, i know i have to adjust the cam on the actuator to prove my theory, but i am so nervous of screwing the whole thing up. It took them more than 5 weeks to figure our the water level in the spa. So when they finally got everything to work, but the water level was 2-3 inches shorter than i...

    Setting Spa Water Level

Do you know of any spas that has water level controls at the filter? Am i looking for something specific around that filter area?

    Setting Spa Water Level

On the step, light on the left side, and drain to pool on the right side. Here is a close up of the actuator on the right side, leaving the pump and filter, going back to a little to the spa jets, and mostly to stair/pool jets.

    Setting Spa Water Level

that is disappointing news. visible pipe along the wall will not fly with the Mrs. is there some setting thing around the filter that awj22 is talking about?

    Setting Spa Water Level

The spa has paving stones built all around. Piping around the spa is not accessible.

    Setting Spa Water Level

The pump is involved. The right side is the return line, that actuator on the right is allowing a small amount of water to go back to the spa jets when in pool mode, and the rest to the stair jets and pool jets. When I am in the spa and turn it off by going to pool mode, I do feel the cold...

    Setting Spa Water Level

I think ajw22 is on to something. I know when we had it installed three years ago, it was a new thing for them, and the spa water level took many hours and several site visits for them to get it right. They would go play with the actuators and i didn't want to be that owner that would watch...

    Setting Spa Water Level

The red circle is where the spa filter is located. There is a port at the step, that is where the water goes back into the pool

    Setting Spa Water Level

We wanted the spa raised above the pool, but didn't want to have the spill over look. No blower or air in take. We have just the pool mode or spa mode. Very good eye Allen. That eyeball does return water water from the spa to the pool. I am trying to google "spa spill under", but getting no...

    Setting Spa Water Level

So during pool mode, looking at the right GVA24-V2, it doesn't close off the water to the spa jets, i think that is what keep the water in the spa, i have set the line to yellow. I think if i adjust that by a hair, it should increase or decrease the spa water level. In spa mode, the first...

    Setting Spa Water Level

When looking at the left side, the suction going into the pump. Water is coming from the skimmer and autovac, and actuator has closed the spa suction. The right side, the water flows out of the filter, actuator has a little flow from the spa jets, and fully open to stair jets and pool jets...

    Setting Spa Water Level

Any opinions? I think that second valve is controlling the flow out of the discharge/filter and slightly allowing water into the spa jets, with most of the water going to the stair jets and pool jets.

    Setting Spa Water Level

Hi All, We have a pool/spa combo, and the water in the spa is set a bit too low for our liking. We would like to raise the water level by 2-3 inches. I am assuming I need to adjust one of the actuators? Does anyone have suggestions? Spa Mode I have my valves mapped out as this, and am...

    How to use the drain

just the kind of hope I came looking for. Did you use a plunger and just pull it towards the wall? With my wrinkle, it's half way to the wall and half way to the step. Just opened the pool 3 day ago, the water is only 51° , I won't be jumping in today, but hopefully soon.

    How to use the drain

I have read and seen the video with the plunger, but they all say you need to drain a bit. Were you ever successful with some water on top like mine? Would still appreciate any instructions on how to use that drain, if anyone can advise.

    How to use the drain

Hi, I have a wrinkle in my liner near my steps, and I have read that i need to drain the pool to just slightly above, to work it out. I would like to use the hose to drain, and was wondering if there are proper steps, which way should i turn the valve? I have a Hayward P4 remote. Is it as...
