New leak, suggestions on how to redo PVC plumbing

Pool plumbing sprang a new leak and wondering what the best approach might be to fix this. I could just tackle the new leak, image on the left, we have sprung a leak right above the pump. I tried marine epoxy, which worked on the pump on the right last year (see gray mess right above the pump...

Mastertemp 400 and diverter valve position

Here's another pic from the side. Another data point, I find the heater turns on and off quite a lot as it's running. So it goes on for a minute and then stops, and then after a few minutes does it again.

Mastertemp 400 and diverter valve position

Trying to understand if the red valve in the picture, I believe it's my diverter valve for the heater, is in the best position. I don't recall ever touching it since the heater was installed a few years ago, but trying to understand flow and how it should be positioned. Thanks for any input.

Spa, why one jet has weak bubbles?

I have an in-ground spa that has 6 jets, but one jet just bubbles up the wall and splashes excessively out of the spa.. When I put my hand against the jet, there is not a strong stream of water like the other jets. Wondering how to troubleshoot, or what could be the issue? The jet next to it...

Help Priming Pump at Opening - Pump Far Away and Higher

Thanks for the ideas! I was pulling air, or a trickle of water, well over a 2 minutes. So I started playing with the check valve that sits right before the pump, I took it off and filled the pipe with a lot of water and sure enough I got the pump to prime right away. On inspection the check...

Help Priming Pump at Opening - Pump Far Away and Higher

I started opening myself last year and getting the pump to prime was tough. This year I'm having the same prime the pump challenge, so thought I would look for suggestions. The pump is about 75' from the skimmer, and probably about 2-3" higher in elevation from the pool. The spa is much closer...

    Help identify spa eyeballs

Here's some close up pics of the ones I pulled out, I was considering these that I found online, these insider eyeballs are hard to find. Does the fat part of this eyeball fit inside the indentation inside the pipe? Why would that be at a different depth on different pipes? A few years into...

    Help identify spa eyeballs

Hoping someone can suggest replacement eyeballs for my spa or provide some insights on what I'm working with. The ones that came with the spa are push-in/slip-in and all the same size, some had electrical tape wrapped around to keep them secured in the pipe. I"m guessing someone installed the...

    Identify skimmer for float valve

We do use a Paramount in floor cleaning system, right next to the skimmer is the blue basket with a cealed white canister lid. I believe we only have one main drain that is plumbed to paramount cleaning basket. Currently have a Skimpro Tower-Vented skimmer basket, wondering if that might also...

    Identify skimmer for float valve

I'm still learning so maybe I have this wrong, but it seems the pump loses prime quiet easily (mostly in the middle of the night) when the basket has leaves around the sides but is nowhere close to full, so I was under the impression a skimmer float valve would help me not lose prime so easily...

    Identify skimmer for float valve

Unfortunately there is no model number on the lid that I can find, only a blank box where it says Model. It does say Pentair on the lid. The weir was also missing when we moved in, I bought an aftermarket one by guessing and it's not the correct one but does the job with a slight modification I...

    Identify skimmer for float valve

I’ve owned the pool for a couple years and realized there is no skimmer float valve and I loose prime pretty easily if leaves are In the basket. Any idea what skimmer model I have? Lid says pentair, but no model number. Pool was built in 2005. Thanks,
