    High alkalinity low ph

Do you happen to know how quickly aeration impact the ph levels? You think a few days? Its been steady at 7.3 the last couple days. As far as aeration goes, he has a couple of deck jets and a waterfall. Just turn those on while the pump is running to increase ph you think? Thanks in advance...

    High alkalinity low ph

Hello all. Been a while since I had this issue (actually helping out a buddy). High alkalinity (130) and lowish ph 7.3. Concerned that adding acid will kick ph too low. Can you guys give me a refresher? Thanks in advance.

What kind of fixture do I have and what bulb would I need?

I did some additional investigating after taking your suggestion into account. There are three conduit lines going to my junction box. Is there any way to replace just the bulb portion without having to fish an entire new line? These cord/bulb kits are quite pricey. A basic search showed...

Two out of the three changed colors automatically. I'm not sure who the manufacturer is because I haven't yanked out the fixture yet.

Reverse osmosis or wait to drain?

I'm not too concerned about the cost of the SLAM but rather daily chlorine costs after that. If my minimum fc with a high cya is going to be ~11, let's say I increase in the evening to 17, what will my daily losses be? Should I expect to lose 40% fc daily? I don't fully understand chlorine loss...

Reverse osmosis or wait to drain?

Hello all, I'm new to the forums and new to being a pool owner. Unfortunately, I was "pool-stored" for the two months or so of pool ownership before discovering this website. The two months I've owned the home the water has looked clear (once it became cloudy but cleared up with store product)...
