Seeking advice on installation since I plan to do this myself. The filter is a Pentair Quad D.E. 100. Pool is 23,000 vinyl lined Chlorine pool. Wanted to know if you guys would suggest adding a multi port valve or sliding valve or no valve at all if I plan to open it up to clean it each time...

I use both, lump for grilling because of the hotter fire and hardly any ash left after they burn and briquets for smoking because they last a lot longer. But hey use whatever you like just get out and do it often. We usually grill several times a week.

Here is another vote for the Furminator. Wife picked one up about a month ago and I was amazed at the amount of hair we could brush off of our Jack Russel, who by the way loves the pool.

My wife was little surprised when my test kit arrived last week but I assured her that it was what we needed to keep our pool in great shape. After she watched me run the test a few times she is convinced and so am I that every pool owner should have one of your test kits. Here's to cool clear...
