Wow I think that is a huge rip off. I'm in Los Angeles and am doing an upgrade mini-pebble finish (Tropics Blue) on my pool that is a total of 474 sq ft including tile and all demo for $7,000. If I was to do a plaster it would be around $4,000

Thanks guys. It was pretty crazy for the demo as they brought a big diesel motor into the driveway and set up a line to the backyard to power their hand tools with a huge manifold to distribute the power. They ended up having 8 guys and had the plaster and tile all done in about 3 hours...
