Jandy SWG pre 2007 - trying to go saltwater again

Hi all,

Have a pre 2007 Jandy SWG system that was not working when we purchased the house in 2013. I have been using the TFP method for chlorine and it is great, but I have decided to try to restart using the SWG system. It was giving an error code which I don't remember and beeping loudly, so I ended up taking out the 2 back boards from the system when I upgraded the front PCB to the iaqualink 2.0 system. In the process, I somehow a managed to burn out the back board which is part number B10032-08A Rev 8 backboard Clormatic III. The front Clormatic 3 panel with the LCD seems ok as no jumpers or relays are burned out. Question is, would I be okay just purchasing a new back board on ebay for $100 and then getting a new salt cell with the newer sensor etc? Anything other than redoing the plumbing to account for the newer style cell (mine is the rectangle) and running the new sensor cables?

Thanks in advance!

Try calling Jandy and see what all you need. Worst case you could just buy the entire system again it is like $1200.

So I just did something similar. I had the aqua link control center and added the items to make it an purelink center. I bought it all From either eBay or amazon.

The good news is their is only one internal board now along with the display panel

page 2 has the parts needed instead of buying a full center

R0447500. Wiring harness (connects to pcb and then to the salt cell power cord)

R0467400 User Interface (the digital display with butting on it)

R0467600 PCB power interface (control board)

R0481400 Transformer (this you probably already have)

The PLC1400 Kit (this has the cell, power cable and salt sensor) I bought from here.

I hope this helps. I had called Jandy and they helped me with the parts list.
