Coping is dark grey belecrete. The concrete deck was existing and is a medium shade of brown if I were to guess. It is 12+ years old but didn't have budget to demo and repour it, so we tried to get stone that would tie in the grey coping and brown concrete

Today they started on the BBQ island. We are going poured concrete polished top with a nice raised overhang to accomodate bar height stools. Our previous granite top was at a weird height that would not fit counter or bar height stools, so we never got to enjoy sitting at the bbq island. They found one of our patio cover posts was dry rotted, so they poured concrete and added some new brackets to support it. Our minipebble is going in tomorrow morning as well. I wired 3 new pentair 5g lights over the weekend. We changed our mind from tropics blue to midnight blue. We were at a bbq on Memorial Day which had tropics, and it just didn't give off the color/look we wanted. We feel like the darker midnight will be good, and we also added a bag of abalone shells to it. Here are some BBQ island pics
