I have 1HP water pump, and jacuzzi sand filter, u can see it on pic. I thought sand filters does not need to be cleaned, I think I completely changed sand like 5 years ago but I do backwash. How do u clean sand filter ?

Good day guys , I am looking for a new filter cartridge based for 30k littres pool. Can u suggest what power I need ? I currently have sand filter but when I send flow through it my heat pump says NOT ENOUGH FLOW. SO I was hoping with cartridge filter flow will be better

Thank you it looks it started to work. Appears I was using Rinse option of the filter instead of backwash. I just switched to backwash for a minute and water flow increased as it should be. Will buy pressure gauge now. Thanks again!

No air bubbles. How do I check filter pressure ? I usually backwash once a month. Should I just open Sand Filter and check it out ?

I have similar problem pool eating chlorine. However my cya reads 60 i keep fc at 20 every day it is down to 12. Could that be a problem with my cya test maybe? As i have cya why would not it hold fc?

Hi guys, I have just changed the pool linear in my on-ground pool. So I am thinking to winterize it right away without starting the pump and filling in the water completely. SO do I just put the cover and blow pipes ? Do I have to add any chemicals at all into the water ? Thank you.

Wonderful thank you. So the overnight loss test is when I am losing about 1ppm a night, correct ? This is exactly what is happening. So I have about 12ppm FC so I will drop it to 5ppm and maintain this level. Thank you very much for all your help.

stabilizer completely dissolved, but I guess I have to test in 5 more days only for a proper result. Slamming to 12ppm these days. Checked yesterday night during the day dropped from 12 to 8ppm. Today from 12 to 10ppm.

Yes exactly water is clear , black dot never disappears. So if CYA is 0 How do I raise it ? During the pool fix I had to replace about 40% of the water. This morning I added some Chlorine but how do I increase CYA to start SLAM ? Thank you
