Pool pump advice

Good day guys,

I have on ground pool, which is half in ground aboutr 30k liters or 10k gallons. I have pool pump 1HP for above ground pools, which has some decent flow. (I think) . I recently installed heat pump, and it always gives me no flow sign. Technician came and replaced the censor but the same thing happens again. I guess my flow is not enough. I am trying to decided which pump to get for more flow. There is also pumps for inground pools, they look the same but price is different for the same HP. Should I get more powerful like 2HP for Inground ?

What is your filter pressure versus your clean filter pressure? I would think a 1 hp pump should be able to push through a sand filter with enough flow to satisfy a heat pump .

I switched my sand filter to whirlpool mode which basically ignores the filtering, so the pressure is whatever 1 hp gives
