4 yrs in and no issues with the travertine at all. I get the occasional weed pop up and there are some instances where I've had to pull up the stone and add some sand below due to ants moving the sand, but all in all it's been great. Best decision was to go with the travertine, no slippage...

I actually go to Texsun pool, 4 gallons for around $20. Sometimes they run a special and you get 25% off a case.

My neighbors pay some guy $160/month to take care of their pool chemicals. I told them they can do if for $160 yr at the most on their own....

You probably want to run a bit higher than 3K anyways. Just dump a bag in and see if that makes your SWG happy.

I have azaleas close to the water...no issues. Also have some oleanders a bit farther away, but they are poisonous so be vary if you have dogs/children

Once you put the MA in, you may want to brush right away to prevent any type of staining on the plaster.
