Hi I am about to purchase a solar breeze but also see the pool skim at 110$ which gets great reviews and costs much less. Did you end up buying it? No doubt the solar breeze is a much cooler gadget but price difference is big.

The multiport seems to be fine. No signs of wear on gasket no leaking etc.. Could it be my pump? The only setting that works is the waste mode? Does the pump actually work in that mode? Or is the water gravity fed since my pool is highe up? This is crazy! I'm stumped.

Opened pool yesterday and let pump run all night. Just shut pump off a little while ago and put multiport into backwash mode and immediately my cheap blue hose popped up so I shut the pump off. I fixed the hose and tried to start over but I couldn't get it to backwash. No water coming out...

Thanks linen. I might cut it into 2 sections. I really do not want to have a reel out on my pool deck all the time so I think if I cut the cover into 2-3 manageable sections I can remove and store them easily. Hopefully that will help a little. If it doesn't I will be asking for more help...
