Greetings! I sold my pool home last June, therefore no longer utilize the pool calculator. I am on automatic renewal and my CC was recently charged. As the pool calculator is now an app, I cannot find where to log in and find the payment method on file. Can anyone help? Thanks!

Thank Allen, I didn't know that. After cleaning out a full pump basket and a few pieces of debris from the impeller (turned easily before cleaning) everything is working fine. Off and on numerous times without tripping. Odd

I agree that my pump has been good to me. What I would like to avoid is paying a premium for both service call and equipment due to an emergency call. In the desert summer heat, the pool pump is second only to AC. It goes out and you pay any price to get it up and running again.

I don't have any of those things James, :-) The motor does feel hot, but so does every other piece of metal currently sitting in the desert sun. I'm sure an electrician can check these things, correct?

No GFCI, those trip at a sneeze! The breaker is 9 years old, don't know what the typical lifespan is. Replacing it requires an electrician, probably $110+, as I don't do this myself. However, it probably needs replacing soon enough anyway? ajw22, my thoughts are if it was an overheating issue...

There isn't anything else connected to this breaker. The pump runs for 5-15 minutes before the breaker trips. It has currently been running for approx 90+ minutes, like yesterday never happened :-)

Yep, that's exactly what has happened. Since acid washing last year, I have kept my pH below 7.5 at all times. Thought I was safe, but.... Perhaps it's a function of super-saturation? If so, the magic number for my pool is 1200.....another tough lesson learned :puker:

Yes, I had been using it for months, but even with it the pH still rises. Guess it was just freak conditions that accelerated the pace of dissolve. My CYA also jumped and this is why I took it out, but two weeks later I have learned pucks are the only way to survive in the desert if one is not...

No miracle, it was just the more rapid dissolving of the trichloro pucks as the water continued to warm under the desert sun. Back to the drawing board

I was afraid I was going to hear that Jason. My TA has been in this range since March, so its not that either. I haven't changed anything. Maybe the TA of my auto-fill suddenly decreased, think I'll check that.

After spending the last few weeks "feeling up" other plaster pool walls, I am resting easier :P Seems lumps and bumps are part of the original construction in some plaster pools.
