hi all, my pump is set to turn itself off after 1 minute of low flow, to prevent burn out. Whenever i backwash, my pump turns off after 1 minute, why is this? Also, my sight glass on the filter is only half filled with water at all times, is this normal? thankyou, appreciated.

hi all, so i've read various how to's on changing sand in a sand filter. So, once i've taped the centre pipe with tape, filled the filter half way with water so the sand doesn't impact on the laterals, do i fill it again with water before i put the multiport in?

my salt reading is 5700, ideal is 2500 i didn't add the salt, local pool guy did it for me when i was a beginner is there any harm in this? its been like this for a while and water has been balanced well. everything is good except this. anything i can do about it or should do? thankyou.
