    Moving Pool Equipment - Newbie

That’s what I thought but I wanted a second opinion. Looks like I’ll be looking for another company. Thank you.

    Moving Pool Equipment - Newbie

I posted before about moving pool equipment. I'm planning to break up concrete and put pavers around my 20 x 40 vinyl liner pool in NJ. I have to change the coping which involves a new liner, liner track, and side mount extrusion. I'm planning to hire a pool company to install the liner and side...

    Moving Pool Equipment - Newbie

Although there’s a tab feeder, I don’t use it. I’ve been following the guidance on this forum. I’ll look for a plumbing supply shop but want to make sure I got the right list of items.

    Moving Pool Equipment - Newbie

I'm planning to build a deck and have to move my pool equipment. The heater is broken so I'm just focusing on the variable speed pump and sand filter. I'm planning to attach 2" PVC schedule 40 and extend my drain and 2 skimmer lines about 20 feet. My pool equipment now is sunken in and causes...

Amazon Lylmle LED pool lights - Advice

I have an older pool but the liner is in good shape. I was planning to get pool lights when I redo my liner in a few seasons but I was a little surprised by the cost from a simple bulb ($5k) to an LED ($8k+). In the interim, I read a few blogs and reviews and purchased the Lylmle 40W (2 in 1...

Moved from Hayward Super Pump to VSP - Issues at low RPM

Just an update. I bought some new o-rings for my sand filter and I was able to get flow out of my returns at lower RPM. I'm now running the pump at night at 1725 rpm with a timer. Appreciate all your advice!

Thanks for sharing. Sta-Rite Max-E-Therm heaters weren't on my radar but like they have potential.

Raypak vs Pentair Heaters for Area with lots of leaves

The previous owners of my house didn't open their pool for 10+ years so I've been working to bring it back to life. Following the advice of this forum, I got my pool looking beautiful. Unfortunately, the heat exchanger on my old Hayward H400 millivolt heater went and it started leaking. I can't...

Moved from Hayward Super Pump to VSP - Issues at low RPM

Too late for me but it might help others. Very unfortunate. Although it was a super easy install, it seems like it's not a true Variable Speed and since I have less control = more headaches. I can backwash again soon but I need to open up the sand filter and replace some old orings and gaskets...

Moved from Hayward Super Pump to VSP - Issues at low RPM

On this particular model, I can't set the RPM. I have to follow a particular programmed schedule. I would love to set it for just the lowest working RPM. But I don't have control. and when I said I didn't open the sand filter yet. I meant, I'm using it but I haven't physically opened the sand...

Moved from Hayward Super Pump to VSP - Issues at low RPM

First time posting but really appreciative of this site and the helpful forums. I'm a new pool owner who bought a house with an older 20x40 33k vinyl pool in NJ. The pool wasn't opened for 10+ years and I brought it back to life using the guidance from this site. Plus I've saved hundreds in...
