Does anyone need this? It works fine, but I think the battery is going bad as it doesn’t hold a charge as long anymore.
If so and you’re in my area, I’ll stick it in the mailbox or I can ship it for postage if needed.
Thanks!
I’ve been lowering the PH using Pool Math and MA, just not enough to lower my TA.
I’m not sure what lowering PH in increments of 4 means? Does it have something to do with counting drops? It took 5 drops of R005 to get the PH to show up as ≈7.4 on the comparator. Pool Math suggested I add 73...

The comparator only goes up to 8 for PH, but sometimes I see other people reporting a PH higher than 8. Is there a math equation to get that number? I have a feeling it’s higher than 8...
Might be a silly question, but how does this work? I don’t see a desc on the website. I have come to enjoy testing, but eyeball leveling is my least favorite part.
Thanks!
Sorry, the pool man is here and I asked him about the screen, but I was wrong. He said it’s not showing up when the valves are changed using the toggle switches.
I am assuming the lights might be a different issue?
Yes, the pump is able to be controlled by the OnCommand. No problem. We were...
Thank you for merging the threads. I couldn’t find the other one to reply to it.
I’m sorry. I see now where I was confusing. That is my fault.
Yes it’s only the valves that are not working. When I use the toggle switch at the valves, it shows up on the OnCommand screen, but the OnCommand...
Yes. The OnCommand works to set schedules for pump run times, turns the pump on and off, the filter on and off, all of the buttons on it and the remote show to work for turning lights and off and on and for working the valves, but the actions don’t complete. The panel says it’s doing those...
Hey guys!
I am hoping for some help from the experts here with this issue.
The pool guy came out and installed the VSP, SWG, and filter. He told me he spent hours on the phone with Hayward tech support trying to figure out how to re-program the On Command, but he didn’t get the help he felt he...
He said he doesn’t understand how it was configured before. It worked fine this morning. Now he wants to sell me a new automation system so that he can understand how it works better.
I’m not sure I want to pay for his pleasure. 😂
He has been on the phone with Hayward for 2 hours. He said they keep hanging up on him and aren’t being helpful.
So why would the slide and bubblers actuators not work now when they were working before he tried to hook the new pump to the OnCommand?
Normally what I would do on my remote is...
I hate I trusted him about that now, but he is the expert.
I’ve asked him not to turn the SWG on because I know my levels aren’t great yet and I can’t test the salt.
If the salt is way too high, do I backwash to remove some?
No, but our OnCommand uses a spa setting to run the bubblers and the slide. The pool guy can’t get them to work. Could what you are talking about be the reason why?
He’s been trying to get the oncommand to work the slide for 2 hours.
Thank you!
I’m worried there is a leak with all that popping and cracking at the top of the filter and with all the air bubbles in the pump pot. The pot is full but lots of bubbles flying around in there.
I don’t see any water coming out though. He’s still here. Maybe I can figure it out before he goes.
The pool guy said it was zero. I assumed that’s because he tested before he told me to put all the salt in.
I just asked and he didn’t test though. He said it would be 0 because we had never had a SWG before.
I think I’m going to throw up. This is getting worse and worse. 😣
This is a straight picture. Is that better?
I looked back at old pictures and those pipes were straight before the new pump and filter install last week.
Should I mention it? What does that do?
