I should say everyday that we swim. We don’t swim much in the winter but daily in summer. It only takes 5 mins. I’m ocd and I prefer a lot of little work than a little “lot” of work.

A pumice stone works great for us. We have 4 kids who use the pool daily. I make them load up on sunscreen. I clean the tiles everyday with a green sponge scrubby from the grocery store and then anything that won’t come off I use pumice stone.

I was born and raised in Alaska. Mosquitoes are our state bird so they are def not going to ge affected.

I am from Alaska. It’s common there with homes that don’t have great insulation. We have water damage in our garage currently from water damming up. There isn’t anything to do other than wait for it to melt and hopefully this will never happen again here For a long time.

Our pool builder set our “freeze protection“ setting to 1800 rpm. We don’t have anything fancy, everything is manual. So I just hit the button and it runs all night. But it’s set at 1800 rpm.

Thank you for your reply. I did turn the Pump off last week and left the heater on thinking it would just not run since there was no water flow and the temp went up to 122. I got super scared and turned the pump back on. Its been working fine, so I hope I didn’t damage anything.

I did the same thing a couple weeks ago.

Also, it’s your pool. Our company always did exactly what we wanted. These bother you so just ask them to replace them. Very easy to do. Better to replace now when it’s easy then wish you had later.

They should fill them with grout. One of ours had the little hole in it but didn’t have the corner like that. The hole will be fine but I if we’re me I’d want the piece with the corner cut replaced.
