    Pentair IC-40 troubleshooting

I don't fully understand it either. LOL. But he said the flow switch is the key to all of the functionality. If the flow switch is bad then nothing will work. I am not concerned about $188 if it fixes the issue but I don't want to sink that money into it when I could put it towards a new...

    Pentair IC-40 troubleshooting

T Thank you for your response. I'll try to answer as best I can. I believe the cell was bought in 2012 but it was at the house when we purchased it last year so I don't know for sure. The cell is on an external fuse and the cord connects into a box outside of the cell so I believe it's an...

    Pentair IC-40 troubleshooting

Hi all! I am new to pools. This will be our first full season. Last year our salt cell worked well and this year it seems to have some serious issues. I've researched all of the other threads and there are a lot of solutions that involve splicing wires, etc. I'm not totally opposed to that...

Slow leak, new liner and skimmers

Thanks Dave. I'm more than a little frustrated that the pool company isn't doing the investigating. I guess the good part is I have the second half of the liner payment and they aren't getting it until we solve this issue.

Slow leak, new liner and skimmers

Thanks! I'll do a bucket test just to be sure. Otherwise it's a lot of other stuff so this is an easy test.

Slow leak, new liner and skimmers

I do have a call in to the pool company. Do they do leak detection? I would think they are somewhat liable as they just put in new equipment.

Slow leak, new liner and skimmers

Okay, so I have read all through the other posts and how to establish where a leak is coming from, etc. We just got a new pump, new skimmers and a new liner, so the leak could be in a whole host of places. I turned the pump off and it is still losing water so from my research it has to be...

Sudden Freeze - Pool half full

I have a liner pool and I had it drained 2-3 ft to do some concrete work. Now we are supposed to get temps down to 24 tomorrow and 1-3 inches of snow. Should I be worried about the walls? The liner is getting replaced next week so I'm not at all concerned about that part. I guess I've always...

    Polywood Furniture

We didn't order the cushions. I couldn't decide what kind of quality they would be and what color I wanted. But for now we will use towels and at least have something to sit on! LOL. Definitely winging it MOST DAYS!:ROFLMAO:

    Polywood Furniture

For some of the chairs they are 12-13 weeks but some of them must have been in stock because it said only 3 weeks when we ordered them.

    Polywood Furniture

We ended up ordering these exact ones! We wanted arm rests so we got them. But I wanted wheels and those were 12 weeks out vs. the 3 weeks for these. So I opted not for wheels. Hope you get what you want!

Hey everyone! Happy Monday!!! We are finally close to pool season up here in Indiana! This will be our first pool season and we are really excited and in the renovation/refurbishing stage. We are replacing the liner with a grey liner to make the pool more modern (the one we have now is 30...

    Crumbling Concrete/Coping

Hey everyone! I am a newbie to pool ownership. So far the water seems to be easy to balance etc but we have some major maintenance things we need to do including a new liner (easy) and repairing crumbling concrete around the coping (not so easy). I can't be the first pool owner to deal with...
