Omnilogic daily alarms. Pool company says these are normal?

Thanks. Any idea why I might be getting these no flow errors? Nothing is clogged from what I can tell.

Omnilogic daily alarms. Pool company says these are normal?

Every day when my pump starts up in the morning, I routinely get the following alarm sent to my email from haywardomnilogic after a few minutes. Alarm for "[Redacted]" at [date], Reason:No Water Flow FlowSensor. After about 20 minutes, the alarm will clear with the following message: Alarm...

New pool. Continuous warnings of low t cell temp due to winter temps. Pool company says it's normal?

Just checking here as sometimes I don't get the most reliable info from the pool company. Is it normal to be getting "low t-cell temperature" warnings every night? They said it's simply b/c of the low outside temperatures and not to worry about it. They added a chlorine bobber to the pool to...

    Intermittent low T-Cell temperature?

I'm getting email alerts about low T-Cell temperature that clear after two hours or so. It seems somewhat intermittent. Sometimes up to two weeks go by without an alarm. Sometimes, I'll get it two days in a row. Is this something to be concerned with?

Brown stains appearing on bottom of new pool?

Interesting. We'll see if it goes away now that the treatments are done for the year. At least I know how to fix it.

Brown stains appearing on bottom of new pool?

Vitamin C works! Stains disappeared immediately. Now to figure out where the iron is coming from. Could it be something the pool company is doing?

Brown stains appearing on bottom of new pool?

Confirmed that their product doesn't have iron in it. Trying vit c tonight to see if it helps.

Brown stains appearing on bottom of new pool?

I've not noticed granules on the deck. We have seen some on the driveway, so I know they use some sort of solid fertilizer.

Brown stains appearing on bottom of new pool?

No idea. I'll call the weed treatment company and find out.

Brown stains appearing on bottom of new pool?

I have recently started a lawn treatment program. The timing seems relevant. Would the issue be that they are somehow spraying chemicals into the pool?

Brown stains appearing on bottom of new pool?

Thank you for your help. I'll start learning how to do the pool chemistry myself. We were hesitant to do this initially b/c we didn't want the installer to blame us if there were any warranty claims. That said, we've had a lot of issues with this company's maintenance crew, so maybe it's time to...

Brown stains appearing on bottom of new pool?

Not sure which forum to post this in. I'm starting to get these brown spots all over the bottom of my pool. They are more prominent around the perimeter. For reference, the pool was installed in February and is on city water. There are no metal objects in the pool as the deep end has a step out...

New pool. Bubbles in some return jets?

I think that was it. After turning the chlorinator off and running the pump on high for a bit, it went away. Thanks!

New pool. Bubbles in some return jets?

This is a somewhat new pool installation (March of 2020) and I've had a some issues here and there so I'm starting to get a little anxious when I notice things. I've recently noticed some bubbles coming out of the jets. When I researched it, I read horror stories about leaking pipes and other...

Tile/grout efflorescence and pool cleaner issues

Interesting. So the nuts should screw from the unit onto the hose not from the hose to the unit (first connection at the polaris should screw up from the plastic fitting onto the hose)?

Tile/grout efflorescence and pool cleaner issues

Understood. I'll look into it. For reference though, the pool is at the top of a hill. All gutters are fed into underground drainage pipes. And, the kooldeck is sloped away from the pool. We made sure of all that before we poured concrete. Ground is hard georgia clay, so it doesn't hold much...

Tile/grout efflorescence and pool cleaner issues

Thank you for the help. We can't afford more work at this point. The pool itself was already very expensive. Are you suggesting we get an estimate and then go back to the pool company with it? This is a practically brand new installation.

Tile/grout efflorescence and pool cleaner issues

Thanks for the help. We have had hard rain over the past few days. The water on the kooldeck currently drains away from the pool. What other options would there be? Should the installer have put in french drains or strip drains?

Tile/grout efflorescence and pool cleaner issues

I never considered that. It might be? How would I know for sure? It rains a lot here this time of year (Georgia), so it's hard to tell right now.

Tile/grout efflorescence and pool cleaner issues

Can anyone tell me if this efflorescence around our tile is normal? Pool was installed in February. I've read horror stories of water getting in behind the coping causing issues like this and that it could be early signs of potential issues. Installer states it's normal and might just need to be...
