Questions for Dolphin Robot Cleaner Owners

I just bought an Active 60 (M600) a few weeks ago from Marina Pool and Spa and it's been working great. The software has worked as it should and it was easy to connect to WiFi and Bluetooth. I know there are many that say save your money and buy a lesser model but my Active 60 cleans faster and...

Which Robot M600 or Polaris ALPHA iQ+?

I ended up getting the Dolphin Active 60 (same as the M600 just different color)from Marina Pool and Spa. It does and outstanding job cleaning. When its finished its cycle, there is not a speck of dirt left on the floor of my pool. I really like the large basket and additional fine particle...

StoneScapes Mini Pebble - Aqua White with Touch of Glass

I have Stonescapes Aqua Cool mini pebble, and love it. I would have added the blue glass bead if it were in my budget. The plaster itself came out great. I was worried about the mini pebble being rough, but it's great. I really like the texture. The issue is that I have read with adding glass...

    Easy Touch heater switch

I have a Pentair Easy Touch control panel and would like it to control my Ray Pak pool heater via a single switch. Currently I have to go through the heat menus to turn it on. It's there a way to assign it to an unused Aux button so I can turn it on from the main panel without going through the...

    Replastering pool

I just had my pool replastered. I used a mini pebble finish with a life time warranty. 3 years on plaster sounds like a cheap marble plaster. Go with a pebble or quartz based plaster. Not sure about the fiberglass. I dont know anyone who used fiberglass in ther pool remodel. I would get a lot...

OK for cleaner now after 28 days?

I had my pool renovated, and on June 30 the mini pebble plaster was installed, and pool filled on July 1st. I have been brushing the pool twice a day for 25 days and now have switched to brushing it once a day since then. The pool renovator, and this site, say the plaster cures in 28 days...

Hey you aren't far from me here in South Jersey. I would definitely get a variable speed pump. I have a Pentair that has been very versatile and extremely quiet.

    My pool renovation, New Jersey

Pics of my pool renovation. Went from Estes marble plaster with blue quartz to a Stonescapes Aqua Cool mini pebble. New tile and coping (on one side of the pool). Pool was originally built in 2007. Major difference in the quality of the pebble plaster vs. the marble.

How often should I run my pump

I have a Chem feeder system. I run my VSP at 1,600 rpms for 22 hours, then run it 2,350 rpms for 2 hours to assist my pressure side cleaner while it runs (in addition to the booster pump). I have an Intellichem so I need to run the VSP a minimum of 1,600 rpms to keep the flow switch on. My...

    New Plaster Water Chemistry

Thanks everyone for your suggestions. after doing the CYA test again I think I’m good with my CYA level. I just need to get my CH from 150 to 200 slowly over the next two weeks per my plasterers instructions. Is it true that pebble pools should maintain a 200 ppm level for calcium hardness?

    New Plaster Water Chemistry

I just had my gunite pool renovated. Went with Stonescapes Mini Pebble Aqua Cool plaster. The pool renovator start up sheet says to bring the CH up to 150 ppm after 4 days (which I did) and them bring CH up to 200 ppm over the next 22 days. Just curious as to why the slow ramp up for Calcium...
