Another dead GFCI breaker - what is a normal lifespan?

I had a seal leak that caused water to get into my motor and trip the braker. Myself and a few electricians couldn't figure it out. It tripped a few random times and then would work for a while and then it started getting more frequent. Then it just wouldn't kick back on. I hope that's not...

    Motor corrosion

In your opinion should I have someone inspect/replace the bearings proactively? Would that make a difference? (My guess is no) Should I do nothing and hope it lasts for a few more years?

    Motor corrosion

“sing” meaning it will eventually corrode through and damage the bearings? Or something else?

Does the hayward sp2607x10 not have an impeller ring? I don’t see one in the diagram. https://hayward-pool-assets.com/assets/documents/pools/pdf/parts-diagrams/Super-Pump.pdf

    Motor corrosion

I've cleaned it off pretty good with a dish sponge. I'd like to neutralize it so I'm thinking of washing it down with a water and baking soda mix. Any other thoughts or suggestions?

The black shiny part on this seal is the same as the white ceramic on others correct? Where does the seal lube go. I've seen a few video instructions but none seem to mention it.

I bought everything from inyopool. https://www.inyopools.com/Products/00101352069707.htm I don't mind changing it out again to be safe. Is that a good choice?

    Motor corrosion

I was going to ask, I think a seal leak destroyed my last motor, so would there be something that could be causing my seals to fail quickly?

    Motor corrosion

So I don't see anything obvious but maybe it's more subtle? I took a video to share. Looks like some moisture but I don't see a drip. Youtube video I really appreciate everyone's help.

    Motor corrosion

It's been raining here off and on so it's difficult to tell. I don't see any viable dripping. Is the metal on the pump looking like that normal?

    Motor corrosion

Quick question hopefully. I replaced my motor in Dec of 2020 and I've notice corrosion building up. See picture. I do live on the coast and there are time I've had pool water splash up on the pump. I have a SWG. Is this normal of a sign of a leak or another problem. Thank you in advance.

O ring in my pump filter

I searched but couldn't find a similar situation. I was cleaning my pump filter basket and noticed this o-ring. Any suggestions on how to approach finding where this came from? I also had me pump randomly trip the breaker before I found this. Not sure how or if that could be relevant.

Any idea what this pipe (see attached photo) does for my in ground pool? It just sticks out of the ground and I have no idea why it’s there. Thanks in advance.
