Thank you! Finally passed the OCLT this morning! Missed my alarm the other morning when we tried. When you look at this pool, it is crazy to know that we started out with brown/green creek water and are now crystal clear with nothing but chlorine and CYA added during that nearly 4 WEEK LONG...

When we tested before starting the SLAM, it was 30, but I never really thought that was correct because we added it when half full using that volume with a target of 30 for the SLAM. Are you saying I should target 40-50 during SLAM or after? I was thinking 70-80 after we are done SLAM'ing.

We are finally almost ready for this step and will be doing the OCLT tonight. Can we add salt and CYA at the same time? Also, if anything else needs adjusted, like pH, can we do that at the same time as well? How long will it take to dissolve the salt? I ask because I don't want to run the robot...

Ours will probably be about 12-14 feet away, BUT from a vinyl above ground. It didn't dawn on me until recently that it could be a problem. I guess we will have to come up with some type of screen to put over it in case the wind picks up or something. Otherwise, I think it will be OK.
