    IntelliFlo VS - 011018 - Discontinued

Update: I ended up installing a new pump. I tried 357527Z and the part listed on Pentair Replacement part list, 356878Z. Neither one fit appropriately. Since then a manager at Pentair told me to replace the drive with 358289 or 356879Z because he can’t find a replacement keypad assembly...

    UPDATE: Pentair Quick Clean issue

Yes, it is a 011018. He took the keypad component only off. He’s running to Lowes to get the torx to remove the screws from the entire top.

    UPDATE: Pentair Quick Clean issue

Husband took it apart and dried everything out. Turned it on and it worked for about 30 minutes. The pump continues to run, however, there are no lights and the display is dark. The buttons do not work. The water must have damaged the keypad control and maybe the main circuit. Ugh

    UPDATE: Pentair Quick Clean issue

UPDATE: The pump ran until 9:00 a.m. this morning (24 hrs after it went into Quick Clean mode) then shut itself off. Display has no lights and buttons do not work. Repair guy came buy and said he’d “start” by replacing the control panel. The pump is probably 15 years old. I’m inclined to...

Had a new liner installed, again. Fourth in 6 years but who’s counting. I use the app to find what chemicals to use in what amounts. I can’t remember if I focus solely on slamming with chlorine or do I adjust for CYA and alkalinity as well? Screenshot of test and slam amount attached...

    Algae issues

Early in March I turned the solar on so my granddaughter could swim over the weekend. I forgot to remove the solar cover and turn the solar system off before leaving for 10+ days. Upon returning we had storms and high winds for 2 days. The pool was covered with algae. I thought it was just...
