My CYA starts in the spring at about 80 and averages around 60 the rest of the summer. The other day it hit 50 and I jumped for joy. I keep my FC around the 6 mark. I don't really lose FC at night.

Most of the time I don't enter my daily tests. Also most of the time my FC in the morning is 4-6, the 2 was when I was gone for a couple of days.

I did just buy a skimmer plate, didn't come with a gasket but the basket and plate are all under water. No leaks in either end of the hose. I guess I'll go back to just putting the hose end into the skimmer suction hole without the plate. Maybe I tried too many differences at once. Thanks

I find it relaxing to brush my pool. Takes about 20 minutes and 1 maybe 2 Bourbons. I have found that since I bought the Wall Whale or Whale Wall brush, whichever it is, it's so much easier on my back and arms. Works great and no, I don't get any endorsement moneys.

That sounds like the perfect solution. Then even if you accidentally put in the wrong number, it won't let you go below or above your recommended range.

That is the reason I kept saying the app said 6. I got a lot of grief for saying what it is. It should be able to remember your target as some of use think the app is telling us the right target. I guess I will do what you do and change it everytime to 8. Maybe then it will level out.
