I need to add 1 and 1/2 qts to my pool for PH. How long before we can swim?

I have literally added that much to my pool while I was in it.
It gets diluted fast by the water volume.

Add it in a pencil size stream at a return with the pump running. Take your brush and brush the area well. Go swimming.

I figured as much. I remember the first time I added it I did exactly how someone told me to do it. Adding it to a glass container, dilute with water, gloves, goggles, spread it around the entire pool. Now I just hold my breath and put the jug in the water holding it high enough no water goes in, but acid flows out. Thanks for the advice.

Yikes, please, do not do that!!!

MA is not a big concern except for getting it in your eyes. Use eye protection.
