Honestly, I’m not sure either - seems like a huge waste of electricity in my opinion. I would even be fine with running it during the day and turning it off at night while it’s covered. Maybe I should get a second (or third, rather) opinion on that. Thanks again!

Non-Teflon? I just checked Amazon for Magic Lube and they all appear to be Teflon based. If we aren’t able to get our hands on any lube right away, is this small drip/leak ok for a day or two?

Thank you very much. We are very new to all things pool related so it’s incredibly intimidating. So we need to remove the air relief valve by unscrewing it from the top, take the o-ring out from the inside of the valve and lubricate it or replace it? What would we want to use to lubricate it?

It was, yes. They left it there when our pool was closed for the winter.

Thank you both! I should have specified that the water is coming out of the nozzle where air and water release from if you turn that assembly to release the air, it’s not leaking around the base of the valve. Is that still likely a gasket/o-ring issue?
