Dolphin Active20 - cycle time less than an hour

After a month I'm finally getting my i300 back today from Marina Pools. They had to replace the motor that was covered under warranty but poor communication from them on status updates.

    Dolphine S300 Trouble shooting

Update - The same error message kept popping up so I sent it off to Marina Pools and they said it was an issue with the motor and will be covered under warranty. Should be getting "flipper" back soon. I'm getting tired of the hose...LOL

Update on my Dophin S300 - Sent it back to Marina Pools with their return label. Turns out the error message I was getting continued to happen for them as well. The are replacing the motor under warranty and will be sending back "flipper" soon. I'll be glad to have him back :)

    Calcium Hardness

Thanks MK for your insight. My target for CH was set at 350 - 450. Should I lower that?

MK - My last results from today were - FC = 6 TA = 120 CYA = 20 PH = 8.2 CH = 225 Salt = 2900 CSI = .51 Added the recommended Baume Acid and the Dry Stabilizer to get the CYA up and the ph down. Feedback welcome.

    Dolphine S300 Trouble shooting

Jim, I didn't have anything checked so it just ran a bit before stopping. Maybe the default went to the quick cycle. It could have been 30 minutes but at least it's working now. Had me worried. Oly - The outhouse is still a work in progress...LOL It also houses my smaller garden tools.

    Calcium Hardness

Should I be concerned that my CH is at 225? App says to add 22 lbs of calcium Chloride but hesitant. I'm adding the other recommended to bring everything in line. Thanks.

    Dolphine S300 Trouble shooting

Thanks Jim - I made a rookie mistake. I wasn't telling it full or quick cycle. I went through all the steps again and that is what I was missing. All is good with flipper now and back in his house.

    Dolphine S300 Trouble shooting

My "Flipper" is only cleaning about 20 minutes before stopping. I checked and nothing is stuck in the rollers. The cord is not tangled and has plenty of free space. I've gone to their web site and tried everything they suggested. I turned everything off and unplugged, restarted and the same...

Anyone ever have a footprint or imperfection in their pebble plaster sanded down?

Rachel - My pool was just finished the January. I haven't seen any indentations and it's too cold now for me to get in there to feel anything..LOL But the sandy prints are gone and that's the visual I was concerned about.

    Auto-Fill and Leveling Systems

I had an AutoFill PoolMiser installed with my new pool. It was recommend on here and it was something that my PB also uses. Time will tell but so far I'm liking the extra comfort of knowing that I don't have to worry about it.

    Awkward backyard build

I had to get my overhead main power-line to the house buried. That alone cost me $7k. They had to go 120' down and around the property line. Had to be done though if I wanted a pool :) I'm looking forward to your build. Have fun!

Anyone ever have a footprint or imperfection in their pebble plaster sanded down?

Rachel - I had two footprints on my steps going down. One of the plaster guys stepped on two steps with his sandy boots after he took off his white booties. It wasn't that noticeable at the time but I started to notice them more and more. I asked the pool school guy about it and he came over...
