Hi Everyone, I have a Raypak RP2100 pool heater. When i turn it on it will start up fine but then it will go to SPRK and re-ignite. I would say it does this every 20-30 seconds. Any ideas where I should start looking to see where the issue is?

My setup is a 1hp Hayward super flo with 1 1/2 pipping to one skimmer. Water level is fine at the skimmer and I replace all of the piping above ground. Is it possible that the pump is too strong that it’s sucking in air?

havent replaced yet weir door arrives tomorrow.

Just went out to the pool this morning and noticed the pool pump lost it’s prime after 4 days. Water level is still good. I was just trying for 30 mins to prime the pump and it won’t prime. Any ideas?

Hi The weir door is missing on my skimmer and I’m trying to find out the part number so I can order. Can anyone point me in the right direction based on the skimmer cover part number?

I just noticed if there is movement in the water such as jumping in the pool the pump gets air. Will a weir door fix this?

Looks like that was the issue. If I add a weir door will that allow me to lower the water level?

I’m at the half mark on the skimmer opening. I’ll raise it up.

I do not have a weir door and I do see a vortex in the skimmer

Ok lube around the pump inlet and by the clamp didn’t work

thanks for your advice so far. So tomorrow I will put lube around the intake side of the pump and where the 2 clamps are. I’ll let you know what happens.
