Raypak Pool heater keeps re-igniting

Hi Everyone,

I have a Raypak RP2100 pool heater. When i turn it on it will start up fine but then it will go to SPRK and re-ignite. I would say it does this every 20-30 seconds. Any ideas where I should start looking to see where the issue is?

It's a flame sensing issue. I would first inspect the board and then look at the pilot assembly. Also check all of the wiring too to make sure nothing chewed on them.

I inspected everything and everything looks fine. No wires are chewed up.

Your heater does not have a thermocouple. At this point, I would suggest you call in a professional and have them go thru the unit. It could be a bad pilot assembly or maybe even the system board.
