We put 1 gallon of 12.5% liquid chlorine in last night after sunset. This morning our numbers are. 4 FC 0.5 CC 80 TA 7.2 PH What should ideal TA be? Pool Math suggests 50 to 90 but TF100 kit instructions suggest 100 to 120. And the pool store computer suggested 125 to 150. So whats correct?

We have not tried turning the softener off, but doubt we have much iron in the water.

And not that it probably matters but we have a heater plumbed in line which we can't use because mice ate the insulation this winter... Another unfortunate surprise.
