Why do you need a timer for the SWCG? I'm asking because we just bought a Pentair Superflo VS pump, and I removed my timer since the pump doesn't need it. I didn't think the SWCG would need one. Hope I didn't mess up.

I'm looking at this system as well. I have had nothing but problems with Solaxx PureChlor, and want to upgrade ASAP.
