    1-1/2” PVC to 3/4” conduit | 320 color logic

He ended up letting me do it how I had planned. He couldn’t find the 1 piece fitting online either. Lol

    1-1/2” PVC to 3/4” conduit | 320 color logic

I’m trying to find out how to convert from the 1-1/2” PVC housing to the 3/4” conduit. All I can find is a 1-1/2” PVC coupling and a 1-1/2” to 3/4” female adaptor to a 3/4” conduit threaded adaptor. see below. Inspector wants one fitting from the PCV pipe to the 3/4” threaded adaptor. I’ve...

Outdoor shower - Require drain to sewer line?

I called and talked to the city about what the sewer company said and they told me not to do anything till they get with their supervisor on Monday. If he request to have it installed as well I’ll just wait till my project is complete, and add it after they are done with all inspections.

Outdoor shower - Require drain to sewer line?

Funny. I just talked to the County sewer company they have a strict ordinance against any type of outside drain hooked directly to the sewer line (mainly because it could collect rain water. So I called the inspector back and he told me I either put in a drain, or I cannot do the shower. He...

Outdoor shower - Require drain to sewer line?

I'm in the process of putting in an outdoor bathroom (before I start my pool build next month) and on the outside of the Pool house/Bathroom I'm going to install a shower head to rinse off. I have the Pool house connected to the sewer line but when the inspector came out. I was told I need a...

Plumbing 2 inlets on 1 run

Yes I know. We just moved from a house that was a tad deeper than what I'm going with here and the adults never went to that side just the kids. The kids are pretty much grown so this one is for mamma and I

Plumbing 2 inlets on 1 run

I have two skimmers 2" and the two main drains into 1 run also 2". My thought was to actually turn down the flow on the tanning ledge, and push the stream down ward to the floor. I don't want it always disturbing the service of the water like shown in this picture, and cooling the pool down.

2" from pool and at equipment pad. 1-1/2 return lines.

Plumbing 2 inlets on 1 run

I'm installing this pool below this spring. I will have 3 main return lines all three on separate runs from the pool equipment pad, and wanted to add an extra 4 inlets on the tanning ledge just to help blow debris off the ledge. My plan for the 4 tanning ledge returns was to run 2 extra lines...

    Water bonding.

I'm starting my in-ground pool (a DIY) at the end of next month, and I'm working with my inspector now, on water bonding. He wants me to use the in skimmer bonding plate that you have to drill thru the skimmer. I look at this being an issue where it could possibly leak down the road with this...

    New build pump pad

I went to Lowe’s this afternoon, and picked up a bunch of both 1-1/2” and 2”, pipe, 90° sweeps, tee’s, and couplings. Then I started thinking is there “special” fittings for pool use?

Lighting how many and which ones?

This is a liner pool that is my layout design but that is not my blue print. They gave me a layout to give me an idea. I can drill holes without voiding the warranty. The shelf area is only going to be 6" deep. I was thinking where the yellow marks are for the 2 large colorlogic, but I'm...

    New build pump pad

I like this idea. I wasn't sure if that would be the case or not, but i figured on the supply side I would have the Middle as the bottom drain, and can always back down with the diverter, if I'm not getting the desired suction from the main drains. On the output line that was going to be the...

I like having the shut offs so when I winterize I can blow the lines out one at a time.

    New build pump pad

2 skimmers 1 main drain On the 4 returns lines 3 will be full and 1 return line that will be split to two at the steps just to help move debris. Backwash/waste will go into a drain line I’m putting in that will allow the water to get away from the pool, yard, and house.

Thanks!! Should I use this bring the bypass into the return line after the heater eliminating the Tee, and 90", and making it one fitting? Never used one of these before. I was debating diverter valves. Do they allow more flow than the ball valves?

    New build pump pad

I just looked at the manual for the heatpump I'm getting Looks like the plumbing will actually hook up behind the unit near the bottom, If that's the way I set in in place. Which then it will give me plenty of room for my 12-18" straight pipe. This layout will also allow me to have bypass from...
