    pH 7.8, CC 0.5, FC 2.5 (TC 3.0), CH 875, TA 170, CYA 60 ... what next...?

Bring your pH to 7.2 and keep it there to the best of your ability. The CSI really popular around here and with a CH that high you probably want to lower your pH into the "acidic" range to keep your water from percipating the calcium from solution. Not sure of everyones opinions of polymers like...

    Pool opened but water cloudy?

I would bring the pH down to 7.2-7.4. Did you open your filter or did a service? It's quite possible that DE is getting back into the pool from the grids either being misseated or have a tear. If the grids are solid and rigid they may have to be replaced, the pressure will bend them and allowing...

Pool guy says need new manifold and grid

With cartridge bigger is better, at the minimum based on the filter you have now you will want a 420sq, and ideally to prolong cleanings a 520sq. Pentairs clean and clear line is a good product. Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk

    Filter pressure decreasing

Are you adding D.E. back into the skimmer? You need to recharge the grids each backwash with 2/3rds the capacity of your filter. Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk

    Please help me!

Just clean the filter.. its not a big deal. Go to the pool store and get some new D.E? Food grade D.E. just doesnt have the same amount of surface area, so it isn't ideal. its great for killing insects tho! Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk

    DE getting into pool

DE coming back into the water happens when the grids are broken, torn or not placed on the manifold correctly. If you overload the grids, DE may come-back into the water Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk

    What to do with CL200?

You're going to want flow going to your chlorinator. I sell replacement parts to new VSP owners because the flow dissolves the tablets into a nice chalk that gums the line and destorys the regulator, o ring and tubes. They make new chlorinators for this reason, obviously don't go out and spend...

    What to do with CL200?

If the pathway is restricted you're not going to want to choke the water with a smaller pipe the pump will have to work harder to get the same flow through the pipe. It can all be done, you'll probably be running at around 2.2-2.4k RPMs which is still 60 more efficient than your old single...

    Replacing/Upgrading Pump

You can install something called a 'check valve' which will hold the water inside the pump near the base of the pipe. The valve only allows one direction of flow, so if you lose power or the pump stops the valve stays closed since it wont move in the other direction. Variable speeds are still...
